Andrew Browne
Chief Financial Officer of SES Networks
Mr Andrew Browne is Chief Financial Officer of O3b Networks. Andrew joins O3b from SES where he served as CFO, during which time he consolidated its global Finance operations, and contributed to increase in shareholder value. Mr Browne was also the CFO of Intelsat from 1995 to 1998 where he was instrumental in building the foundation for privatization including the formation of the spin-off ‘New Skies Satellites’ in The Hague, Netherlands. He then served as CFO of New Skies from 1998 to 2008, overseeing IPOs on the Euronext and NYSE before creating substantial shareholder value through private sales to private equity and ultimately to SES. Mr Browne previously held CFO and board positions at a number of global companies and organizations, specializing in the telecommunications, technology and financial sectors including AMD in Silicon Valley, Tom Tom in the Netherlands and the Development Bank of Ireland. Mr Browne is a member of the Institute of Certified Public accountants (CPA) and has an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Intl Space University in Strasbourg.

In his current role, he is responsible for the corporate areas of Accounting, Business Analysis & Control, Internal Audit and Internal Controls, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal, Real Estate, Risk Management, Taxation, and Treasury. Kevin joined Wolters Kluwer in 2003. Hehas been CFO of Wolters Kluwer Health for three years, during which time he played a major role in transforming the Health portfolio. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President, Investor Relations, and as CFO of the business unit Law & Business at Wolters Kluwer. Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Kevin held senior finance positions in the operating units of information and media companies, including Reed Elsevier and EMI Music. He began his career and worked for several years at KPMG. Kevin is a member of the Board of Trustees of Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA and Berkshire Outdoor Center. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CNBC Global CFO Council. Kevin graduated in 1987 from Montclair State University, New Jersey and was qualified as a Certified Public Accountant.
