A veteran of IDG for the past 47 years, Ted Bloom serves as both President and CFO of IDG. Prior to these titles, Bloom most recently served as Vice President of the company. Responsible for the financial structure that supports the growth and development of IDG’s US and global businesses, Bloom oversees the financial operations of IDG. Having spent his entire career at IDG, Bloom joined the company in 1967 while still a high school student. Beginning his tenure in the IDC mailroom, he was promoted to Assistant to the VP of Marketing, a part-time position he held throughout his four years of college. In 1973, Bloom joined IDG full-time as Credit Manager in the Finance Department before serving as Assistant to the VP of Finance.
