Brian Yoor is Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed to his current position in June 2015. He previously served as Vice President, Investor Relations. Brian joined Abbott in August 1997, and held various financial management positions of increasing responsibility, including Controller positions in the pharmaceutical, nutrition, and diagnostic businesses, before being asked to lead Abbott’s Investor Relations effort in January 2013. Previous to his involvement with Axios Investments LLC, Tom had early and instrumental involvement in a variety of startup companies across the disciplines of entertainment, new media, and educational, financial and medical technologies. Companies included therein are myFootPath, IdeaCast, K2M, OES, Tru Fragrances, Out The Box Records, Focus Technology, and TradingBlock. He is currently an active board member of TradingBlock, an online options brokerage house. Prior to focusing on early stage investing Tom was a market maker in equity options on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, covering the spectrum from sole proprietor to owning and managing several specialist operations, and still maintains a trading firm in Chicago. Tom received a BS in Computer Science from Marquette University. Upon graduation, he co-founded NeoTek Software, a developer of educational CAD/CAM software that was later integrated into a national education supplier.

John Anderson

John Anderson manages all financial functions at Knowles Corporation. He plays a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating Knowles’ overall capital structure and capital allocation strategy. Working closely with the CEO and leaders of the business units, John’s proven track record and commitment ensures Knowles consistently achieves bottom line performance, working capital, and ultimately, enhancing shareholder value. John joins Knowles after more than four years at Dover Corporation, where he held several positions. Most recently he was vice president and chief financial officer of Dover Energy, where he increased the company’s profitability through a number of acquisitions and successful integrations. Previously, John held a number of leadership titles at Sauer Danfoss, Borg Warner Turbosystems and Borg Warner Automotive. At Borg Warner, he worked in Germany for two years. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. A certified public accountant, he is member of the Illinois CPA Society and former board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago. He graduated in 1986 from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He also received an MBA degree in business administration from the University of Chicago in 2000. John lives in Elmhurst with his wife and three children.
