Laurie Silver has over 20 years’ experience with a financial, accounting, strategic planning and operations background. Prior to BrainScope, she served as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for the Services group at Symantec, where she led the integration of the Services organizations upon the $13 billion merger of Symantec and Veritas, which was the largest software company merger in history. Prior to Symantec, Ms. Silver was the Vice President of Finance and Administration of TrueCareers, a subsidiary of Sallie Mae; Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis across all business units of ABC/Disney; and a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in New York. Ms. Silver graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and earned a CPA license from the State of New York. She has been with BrainScope since 2009.

Simon Buckett
CFO of HealthTech Connex
Mr. Buckett brings with him over twelve years of finance and project management experience working for private and publicly listed companies in the UK, US, and Canada. Mr. Buckett began his career with KPMG in London and then in Vancouver as Senior Auditor, later joining Ernst & Young as an audit department Manager. Most recently he was Vice President of Finance at Wurldtech Security Technologies, Inc. His responsibilities have included internal control and governance policy, the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley in a number of SEC registrants, and managing the reporting requirements of a range of private and public companies.

George Dorin

Mr. Dorin has 30 years of broad-based financial experience, including 15 years as a Corporate Director or CFO for several private and public companies. He holds undergraduate degrees in Science and Accounting from the University of BC, a Masters Degree in Finance from the London School of Economics, and the Diploma FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute). A Chartered Accountant, he was also granted a CF (Corporate Finance) specialist designation from the CICA in 2008. Prior to his work in industry, he worked in the financial services sector with Ernst & Whinney (now KPMG), Price Waterhouse, Royal Bank of Canada, and with Pemberton Securities (now RBC Dominion Securities). In 2007 and 2008 he was a Senior VP Corporate Finance at Wolrige Mahon, a BC-based CA Firm. Most recently, he has been providing corporate finance, senior financial management and corporate director (including audit committee chairman) services to several industrial public companies through this own company CANUS Capital Corporation.
