Neel Dev
CFO of CenturyLink
Neel Dev is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CenturyLink and has global responsibility for CenturyLink’s financial planning, accounting, tax, treasury, procurement and supply chain management and real estate portfolio. Neel previously served as CenturyLink’s group vice president of finance and was with Level 3 for 13 years prior to the CenturyLink acquisition. In 2016, Neel was named Level 3’s integration team lead for the Level 3 and CenturyLink transaction, accountable for working to maximize the value of the transaction and capturing integration synergies. Neel has more than 20 years of telecommunications industry experience in both operational and financial roles. Prior to joining Level 3, he held leadership positions with MCI (now Verizon Business) and MFS Communications with both financial and operating responsibilities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Mathematics from the University of Delhi (India) and an MBA from the University of Arizona. He also is a CFA charter holder.

Neil has more than three decades experience in the securities and financial industry. He brings enthusiasm, energy and a solid base of understanding in acquisitions, strategic planning, private and public financing. He has been instrumental in helping dozens of companies secure early stage financing. Neil is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rare Green, Inc., a mineral resource focused exploration company. He recently served as the Vice-President of Finance and on the audit committee for Boulder Imaging, a leading machine vision products company. Prior to Boulder Imaging, Mr. Cox was the founder and served as CFO for Tombstone Technologies, a publicly traded software company developing SaaS software systems for the printing industry and acquired by Hunt Global Resources in 2010. Neil founded IDMedical.com, served as CFO and was instrumental in the financing and guidance process in making the company become publicly traded. The software company helped pioneer computerized medical records on the Internet. Its software was leading edge by using an interactive website that allowed for developing complete medical histories viewable on demand by health care providers. Mr. Cox worked as an Investment Banker and was a registered principal and owner of Rocky Mountain Securities & Investments, Inc. for over 20 years. He served as a Lieutenant in the US Army, is a licensed insurance broker and enjoys hiking and basketball.
