Prior to his current position, Dean was a member of senior management at Canadian Tire Financial Services (CTFS) and Canadian Tire Bank for twelve years, serving as President of CTFS and CEO of Canadian Tire Bank for three years. Dean has extensive experience in finance, achieving strong results during periods of global economic uncertainty. Dean joined Canadian Tire Corporation in 1996 and has held a number of progressively senior roles, including Corporate Controller, Canadian Tire Corporation. During his 20-year career with the Company, Dean has led a number of projects including leading the establishment of Canadian Tire Bank and driving the success of Canadian Tire MasterCard with over five million accounts issued.

Bernard Beckett
CFO of Marport Deep Sea Technologies
Bernard Beckett has a distinguished career in senior finance, and extensive expertise in corporate transactions and financing that spans more than three decades. In 2012 Bernard began providing advisory services to Bluedrop and was the Chair of our Audit Committee. He transitioned into his current role of CFO in 2013. Well versed in our financial and public company reporting systems, his expert guidance will continue to support the growth of our company. Bernard has been a public accountant and Partner with KPMG and Ernst & Young, and has filled senior leadership roles with private and public companies. Prior to joining Bluedrop, he served as Corporate Treasurer and CFO of Fishery Products International (TSX FPL), and as CFO with Marport Deep Sea Technologies. A graduate of Ryerson University, Bernard is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in both Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCPA, FCA). Bernard is an active Rotarian and avid traveller.

Christopher Clark

Mr. Clark has almost 20 years finance and accounting experience in public practice and in public and private companies, most recently focused in the medical device sector. Previous experience includes financial leadership roles with large automotive and telecom firms in which he developed deep expertise in the development and management of sophisticated financial systems. A highly sought after consultant for biotechnology startups, Mr. Clark accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer at Neovasc and was instrumental in the initial and ongoing development of Neovasc as a publicly traded company. He received his designation as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and articled with KPMG before moving to Canada from England in 1998.
