Brian Cohen

Brian Cohen 30-year career features a wide variety of technology leadership roles and entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales Strategy & Operations at Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for driving the Americas regional sales coverage and compensation, sales process management, sales productivity and sales readiness programs within HP’s Enterprise Group. In this effort, he worked closely with the Worldwide and Regional Business Units, Sales Finance, Human Resources, and Country-based Sales Operations teams. Prior to joining HP in August 2010, he was a Fellow in the 2009 New England Clean Energy Fellowship, an MIT program designed to prepare serial entrepreneurs for leadership roles in the clean technology industry. Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of Steelbox Networks, developing technology for the next wave in video switching. As President and CEO of SPI Dynamics, Cohen led the company through its acquisition by HP in August 2007 when its application security software became a key part of the application management solution in the HP Software line. Under Cohen’s leadership, SPI Dynamics was recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte for four consecutive years starting in 2003. Cohen has also founded and served as President and CEO of Technologic, Inc. (sold to eSoft, Inc. in 1999), and in executive management positions with Management Matters, Inc., a private investment and consulting company, and Dun & Bradstreet Software (aka Management Science America). He has a BA from the University of Florida and began his technology career as a systems engineer with Electronic Data Systems. Cohen also serves as Chairman of the Board of Lancope, Inc., a network security and network performance optimization company, as an advisor to Bluebox Security, a mobile security platform company, and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.

Troy started his career as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen. He also held controller and chief financial officer positions at both private and public technology firms. Before joining eQuorum, Troy was CFO for a $100 million services company based in Atlanta. He is active in several professional organizations including the Technology Association of Georgia and the Technology Executives Roundtable – CFO Forum. As Chief Executive Officer of Aptean, Paul Ilse is driving the company to ensure it delivers compelling solutions to its customers and remains an industry leader in the enterprise application software market. Mr. Ilse brings almost 20 years of executive leadership experience in the technology sector. Mr. Ilse is widely known in the industry for his exceptional communication, strategic planning, and analytical skills, along with a demonstrated ability to act as a true business partner and leader across all functions of the organization. Prior to joining Aptean, Mr. Ilse served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of RedPrairie Holding, Inc. since January 2007. He joined RedPrairie in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining RedPrairie, he served as Chief Financial Officer of BlueCube Software, Inc. from its inception in 2004 to the acquisition of the business by RedPrairie in 2006. Before BlueCube Software, Paul was Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Radiant Systems, Inc. since July 1998. He joined Radiant Systems, Inc. in January 1996 as its Controller. Prior to joining Radiant Systems, Inc., Mr. Ilse held a variety of senior positions with Price Waterhouse LLP, where he worked primarily with middle market companies and technology firms. He currently serves on the Leadership Committee for the Technology Association of Georgia. He is a CPA and a Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
