Converged Security Solutions (CSS), the holding company behind IT transformation, cybersecurity, and physical security companies Evolver and eVigilant, named Chris Basley as Chief Financial Officer this week. Chris will oversee all finance, accounting, and treasury operations for CSS and its principal holdings, Evolver and eVigilant.
“Chris complements our strong, performance-oriented culture and his track record for achieving results in rapidly growing companies makes him the right choice to lead our finance and accounting team,” said Mike Santelli, Chief Executive Officer of CSS.
Chris joins CSS with more than 20 years of experience in optimizing financial resources to strategically position companies for long-term growth. He arrives following his previous CFO position at Southland Concrete Corporation, where he oversaw the organization’s transition from an S-corporation to a C-corporation, while improving systems to evaluate financial information for better decision making.
With strong connections in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Chris has also held financial leadership roles at SteelCloud, Opnet Technologies and Ankura Consulting, where he drove all financial operations, developed strategy, business modeling, and forecasting, and improved tech platforms during a time of significant growth. His total breadth of experience includes GovCon, professional services, IT, and construction, overlapping with several of CSS’s market priorities.

Chris earned his BS in Management from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo, and his accounting certificate from Hofstra. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the CFO Leadership Council.
