Geoff joined Telstra Ventures as its CFO in June 2012. Prior to joining Telstra Ventures, he was CFO of a Sydney based venture capital firm, Innovation Capital, and sat on the boards of its investees. Geoff founded a venture backed software company in San Francisco and held management roles for both Diageo and Allied Domecq in Europe. Earlier in his career, Geoff trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Sydney, as well as an MBA from St John’s University in New York.

James Orlando
CFO of Veda Advantage
James joined Veda in May 2013 as CFO, and has more than 25 years’ experience leading teams across the treasury, finance and accounting, pricing, and legal functions. Before joining Veda, James was the CFO of AAPT, where he focussed on improving the company’s earnings, as well as divesting its consumer business. James has also served as the CFO of PowerTel Ltd, an ASX-listed telecommunications service provider and has held various international treasury positions at AT&T and Lucent Technologies in the USA and Hong Kong, focussing on export and project finance.

Sid joined mcr in June 2004 and is responsible for mcr’s financial infrastructure. He has held positions of financial manager and financial advisor within corporate accounting and financial management fields in the IT industry since 1988. Sid holds a BA in Accounting and Statistics and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

David Corcoran
CFO of Asia of Westcon-Comstor
With more than 17 years of tenure with Westcon-Comstor International, David Corcoran serves as CFO for the Asia Pacific region. He joined the company in the role of Finance controller in the Australian business and has held several roles over the past 17 years including Commercial Manager, Operations Director and Chief Operations Officer. David began his career with the Irish Chartered Accounting firm Niall M Hogan & Company, where he completed his financial training and qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). David moved to Australia and worked on a number of projects for companies including the Australian Broadcasting Corp., Symphony Australia and the Australian National Audit office. Since arriving in Australia, David has qualified as a Fellow of the ACCA.

Iain Bartram
Chief Financial Officer of FirstWave Cloud Technology
Iain has a Computing and Management Science degree from Cambridge University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC. He moved into industry and took a business analyst position with Vodafone (Australia) in 1998. In early 2000 he founded the Australian office of a young and pioneering Internet Streaming business providing services to the music industry. Moved into more mainstream Internet communications for Corporations and in 2005 took a CFO role with an IT start up that had recently listed on the ASX. More recently he managed $5.5m capital raise for a start-up in the mobile content industry and negotiated key network operator contracts.
