Dan Florin was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors on July 11, 2017. In addition, he serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position he has held since June 2015. Mr. Florin served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Biomet from June 2007 to June 2015.Prior to joining Biomet, Mr. Florin served as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Boston Scientific Corporation from 2001 until 2007. Before being appointed Corporate Controller in 2001, Mr. Florin served in financial leadership positions within Boston Scientific Corporation and its various business units. Prior to joining Boston Scientific Corporation, Mr. Florin worked for C.R. Bard from October 1990 through June 1995, and was employed by Deloitte from September 1986 to October 1990. Mr. Florin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an Executive MBA from Boston University.

Prior to his arrival at OraMetrix, Dr. Rohit Sachdeva was a professor of orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry and Texas A&M University, Dallas. He also served on the faculties of the Universities of Connecticut and Manitoba, and has held numerous visiting faculty positions at internationally recognized universities. He is internationally recognized for his contributions in the field of orthodontics, especially in the areas of bioengineering and material sciences. He is the developer of copper nickel titanium, titanium niobium orthodontic alloys and titanium brackets, and holds more than a dozen patents in the medical and dental fields. Dr. Sachdeva received his dental degree from the University of Nairobi (Kenya) in 1978. In 1983, he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters in Dental Science at the University of Connecticut. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Japanese Society of Promotion of Science Fellowship Award.
