Patrick O’Malley assumed the role of EVP & CFO effective August 25, 2008. In his previous role of SVP Finance & Treasurer, he was responsible for Corp. Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, Credit & Collections and Risk Management along with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and support for our Business Unit GMs, Sales & other functions. In October 2005, he returned to Finance from the Sales Organization where he coordinated the Company’s activities surrounding the Consumer Electronics market as the SVP, Consumer Electronics Business Development from January 2004. O’Malley joined Seagate in 1988 & has held various management roles within the Finance organization including Manager of Consolidation & Cost Accounting, Director of Finance – Corporate FP&A, Sr. Director of Finance for Oklahoma City Operations, Sr. Director of Finance for Desktop Design, VP of Finance for Recording Media Operations & SVP of Finance for Manufacturing Operations. John H. Tran is the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Backblaze. Most recently, John was the chief operating officer for ImmunGene, Inc.; a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel cancer immunotherapy. John also held executive leadership roles in various private and public companies, including companies that went through initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
