Trevor Short
Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer of Millennium Entertainment
Co-founder and CFO Trevor Short oversees legal, finance and administrative operations for Nu Image, Inc., Millennium Films and all related companies. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Short obtained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Rhodesia and an MBA at the University of Cape Town where he was awarded the Gold Medal. In 1980 Short entered the world of banking and commerce, joining Standard Chartered Merchant Bank in Harare as head of Corporate Finance, responsible for takeovers, mergers and IPO’s. He then moved to Hill Samuel Merchant Bank in Johannesburg in 1984 as head of its Corporate Finance Division and subsequently to Investec Bank where he was responsible for eight IPOs on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, as well as numerous mergers and acquisitions Short’s finance background led him to develop a tax based financing formula to produce motion pictures in South Africa. He succeeded in procuring over $200 million from private investors to fund the production of international films made in South Africa. Much of the financing he secured was for films produced by Avi Lerner’s Nu Metro group for international film companies. He also became a consultant to the Government of South Africa regarding film incentive legislation.

Larry Wasserman

As Chief Financial Officer of Skydance, Larry Wasserman is responsible for all of the company’s finance, accounting and administrative operations, and also supports the analysis and execution of new initiatives across the organization. Prior to Skydance, Larry was the Chief Financial Officer at DreamWorks Studios, where he oversaw all financial activities and several divisions of the independent film studio and played a key role in re-launching the company in 2008. Jeff Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez has had a 20-year career in the motion picture and entertainment industry as a Chief Financial and Operating Officer of several companies including three which were publicly traded. He values integrity and knows that success, in any industry, is built on the establishment of strong business relationships. He has a proven track record of successful start ups, turnarounds and specializes in managing complex financing arrangements. Mr. Gonzalez was one of four founding partners of Maya Entertainment. Maya is a premier motion picture and distribution company concentrating on English-Latino themed product to meet the needs of a growing Hispanic market segment. While there he oversaw the establishment and daily operations of the home entertainment, domestic television and international licensing divisions. Anticipating the shift in consumer consumption of product, Mr. Gonzalez was instrumental in establishing and expanding Maya’s presence in the digital market (i.e. VOD, SVOD and IVOD). While at Trimark Pictures, he was part of the executive team that managed a turnaround to increase market cap by 500% within a two year window. Utilizing a new economic model, Trimark was able to reverse five years of net losses and recognize a 211% increase in net earnings. This culminated in the $75 million sale of Trimark to Lion’s Gate Entertainment. At Interplay Entertainment, Mr. Gonzalez oversaw an earnings increase of $35 million in just one year. The turnaround team at Interplay orchestrated a $50 million sale of underperforming assets, which was more than double the market capitalization of the company at the time. He served as Controller for Morgan Creek Productions where he helped oversee the financing and accounting of blockbuster films such as Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, Ace Ventura, and Major League. Mr. Gonzalez started his career at Price Waterhouse in the entertainment special practice unit servicing numerous motion picture clients including Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Morgan Creek Productions, and Carsey-Werner Productions. Throughout his career, Mr. Gonzalez has managed debt facilities ranging from $75 million to $150 million to fund film productions. He oversaw the financing of up to fifty productions and acquisitions of motion pictures per year with budgets ranging from $250,000 to over $15 million. Mr. Gonzalez graduated from UCLA with a BA in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Westside Neighborhood School as part of his commitment to the enrichment and education of children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
