John Fernandez

John has 20+ years leading finance organizations. He has spent his career working with high-growth software companies; ranging in size from start-ups to large public companies. John has overseen FP&A, Accounting, Legal, HR, Recruiting, Sales Operations, Facilities, and IT functions. He has done extensive work in the area of capital raising, both debt and equity, and has successfully completed and integrated multiple transactions in software M&A. His prior employers include Rearden Commerce, Siebel Systems, and UBS Financial Services. John has a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Steven Finney
Interim Chief Financial Officer of Identiv
Steven Finney was appointed Identiv Interim CFO in November 2015. He has been employed by Identiv as Vice President Finance since February 2013, initially responsible for the Americas Region finance function, and subsequently for global finance since July 2014. Mr. Finney has spent nearly 20 years in senior financial roles in several listed multinational enterprises focused on various aspects of the electronic access control industry. Prior to Identiv, he served as North East Regional Vice President Finance for ThyssenKrupp Elevators from October 2011. From June 2004 to September 2011, Mr. Finney was Vice President Finance for ASSA ABLOY, initially leading the finance team for the Global Technologies Division from 2004 to 2007, and then as Global CFO for ASSA ABLOY Hospitality from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, he spent from 1997 to 2004 with Tyco International, moving from Australia to the U.S. in 2001 to take up Director roles initially in Business Development and subsequently in Financial Policy & Risk Management, in which latter position he oversaw the introduction of the Sarbanes Oxley regulations into Tyco’s Fire & Security Division. Mr. Finney qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK with Coopers & Lybrand (predecessor firm to PwC), and transferred with them to Sydney, Australia. He holds a B.A. degree with Honors in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Sheffield in the UK.

At Cambridge Management Group LLC, one of the leading pre-settlement finance companies, Charles served as COO/CFO, securing a $30 million line of credit and in a two-year time period doubled the revenue of the company and re-built the entire infrastructure including IT, policies, procedures, staffing, facilities and telecommunications. When the company suffered a catastrophic fire, his disaster recovery experience enabled the company to be up and running within one week without loss of business or data.His key strengths include financial management, turnaround management, facilities administration, team / project leadership, security operations and systems implementation.
