Matthew Seelye

In his current role as CFO, Matthew Seelye oversees all of Kaplan’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting and analysis, transaction support, real estate, internal audit and procurement. Seelye joined Kaplan in 2001 as CFO of Kaplan Higher Education Campuses, then progressed to CFO of all of Kaplan Higher Education (KHE), which includes Kaplan University. During this period, KHE grew from a $100 million company with 28 institutions to a $1.5 billion company with over 75 institutions. KHE’s expansion was a result of both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. During this period of rapid growth, Seelye led the KHE finance function in a manner that ensured capital was strategically allocated to support long-term growth, the underlying financial infrastructure and related control environment was scaled properly, and business risks were appropriately managed. Prior to joining Kaplan, Seelye was the Corporate Controller of the Washington Post Company from 1997 to 2001. Previously at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), he held positions of increasing responsibility from 1990 to 1997 leading to Manager in the Business Assurance practice. Seelye is currently a member of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI). He holds a CPA and graduated with a B.B.A. majoring in Finance/Accounting from James Madison University.

Christopher Malone

Chris is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and administrative operations of Applause. He is a veteran of the IT Services industry, previously serving as the Vice President of Finance for NTT DATA, the 6th largest Global IT service provider. At NTT DATA, Chris held leadership roles that included oversight of the financial management of the Company’s U.S. and Canada Commercial Operations. Susan Carter

Susan Carter is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ingersoll-Rand Plc., a diversified industrial company. She joined Ingersoll-Rand in September 2013. Prior to joining Ingersoll-Rand, from 2009 through 2013, Carter served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of KBR, Inc., a global engineering, construction, and services company; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lennox International Inc., a global provider of climate control solutions for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets from 2004 to 2009; and as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Cummins, Inc. from 2002 to 2004. She also held senior financial and accounting roles at Honeywell International, DeKalb Corporation, and Crane Co. She is a former director of Lyondell Chemical Company. Carter received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University and received a Master’s degree in Business Aministration from Northern Illinois University. She is a Certified Public Accountant. As the chief financial officer of global publicly-held corporations Carter has gained significant experience in financial reporting, information technology, accounting, finance and capital management, investor relations, and international operations. Her background provides the Board with broad expertise in international financial and operational issues.

Michael Tschiderer is the Chief Financial Officer at Transcat Inc. since December 2015. Joe has been with Compuware since 1996. He has held several positions in the Sales Operations and Finance areas. Before being named CFO of Compuware, he was a VP of Finance in charge of Strategic Planning & Analysis. Joe played an integral role in the sale of the company to Thoma Bravo. In his current role, Joe oversees Finance, Human Resources, Legal and IT. Joe is married and has three daughters. All three are very active in multiple sports. Joe also has plenty of experience as a hockey coach, including being the head coach at UM-Dearborn for 8 years.
