Nicholas joined StarHub as Chief Financial Officer on 1 July 2013.Before joining StarHub, Nicholas was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning at ST Telemedia, responsible for business oversight of subsidiaries; harnessing the collective strengths of the ST Telemedia Group of companies for synergistic gains; and spearheading group knowledge management — including financial, operational risk management, processes and systems. Nicholas also oversees the overall enterprise risk management (ERM) function at ST Telemedia. Nicholas founded and launched a unique focus group of noteworthy practitioners across various industries, creating and galvanising a forum to exchange ideas and experiences, enrich one another’s organisations, and raise the standards of ERM in Singapore.Prior to that, Nicholas was also seconded to ST Telemedia’s former Indonesian subsidiary, PT Indosat Tbk, where he served as its Chief Financial Officer for two successive years from 2002. There, he was instrumental in the successful conclusion of a complex refinancing exercise that raised almost US$1 billion from three instruments—garnering several industry awards along the way. Nicholas’s other previous appointments include Vice President of Finance at StarHub Ltd; Finance Director at ST Telemedia; Financial Controller (S.E. Asia) of Becton Dickinson Medical; Manager of Tax & Treasury at Hewlett Packard Singapore; and Corporate Internal Audit at Texas Instruments Singapore.

Davy Lassagne
Group CFO of UnaBiz
Davy has over 20 years of sales, financial, legal and operational expertise acquired through hands-on, buy- and sell-side experience in Asia. He has held several roles as a corporate advisor with strong deal sourcing and financing capabilities through trusted networks in both Asia and Europe. Davy is currently the Group CFO of upstream data provider UnaBiz, overlooking all aspects of finance, HR, legal, compliance and general administration of the group. He has helped the founders through several fund raising series and accompanied the company through its various growth cycles. Prior to that, Davy held a similar role for one of Singapore’s largest F&B groups, DHM, assisting the founder and CEO with its restructuring and fund raising exercises. From 2009 to 2013, Davy was Head of Operations and IB Team Lead at Makara Capital, a Singapore-based boutique investment firm. During his time there, he also oversaw the creation of IP-focused investment fund Makara Asia Development Fund. Davy started his career as Myanmar country head for Natixis in the late 90’s before joining international wealth management firm Meyado and staying there for eight years. Davy holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School, majoring in Corporate and International Finance.

Wong was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2007, having been Vice- President, Finance since 2005. Ms Wong oversees the financial affairs and reporting for the Group and supports the Group’s investor relations and risk management activities. Ms Wong has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, most of which were with the Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd group of companies. She joined our Group in June 1995 as an Accountant. She participated in the listing of TeleChoice on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in June 2004. Ms Wong holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the National University of Singapore and a MBA from Heroit Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Ms Wong is also a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
