Misty Gruber is the Chief Financial and Scientific Affairs Officer/General Counsel and a member of the Board of SIWA. Prior to co-founding SIWA, Ms. Gruber served as Co-Chair of the biotechnology section of law the Dykema Gossett PLLC law firm, with a focus in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters, including private and public securities offerings. Ms. Gruber was a co-founder of Arryx, Inc. and a co-founder and initial member of the Board of Hyseq, Inc. (after going public, it was subsequently merged into another public company). Ms. Gruber is a member of the Visiting Committee of the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago and the Madison Council of the Library of Congress. Jim Herrmann

Jim is a financial and operations executive with over 25 years experience spanning finance, product development, manufacturing and regulatory, in both diagnostics and therapeutics. Jim co-founded Tolera Therapeutics, where he worked with CEO John Puisis to raise $20 million and bring its MAb therapy from pre-clinical to a Phase 3 Special Protocol Assessment.
