Prior to Rokid, Eric served as consultant and operating partner at CITIC Capital Partners, Ltd. and executive director and CFO of Kingsoft Corporation, Ltd., currently publicly listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He also currently serves as an independent, non-executive director, chairs the Remuneration and Nomination Committees, and is a member of the Audit Committee for Kingsoft. Before Kingsoft, Eric was vice president of finance and corporate controller at Alibaba Group, where he was also chairman of the Group Financial Control Committee. He previously served as CFO for Goodbaby Children Products Group, vice president of finance at IDT International Limited, and financial controller for AMF Bowling, Inc. and International Distillers China, Ltd. Eric holds a master’s in finance from the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom and a master’s in accounting from Charles Stuart University in Australia. He is a fellow CPA member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow CPA member of Australian Society of CPAs.

Yonggang Gao
CFO of Semiconductor Manufacturing International
Yonggang Gao has been the company’s Non-Executive Director since 2009, as well as being a board member in two subsidiaries of SMIC, Semiconductor Manufacturing International (Beijing) Co., Ltd and Semiconductor Manufacturing International (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Since June 2013, he has been the Executive Director and appointed as Executive Vice President of strategic business planning and on February 17, 2014 has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. Gao has over 20 years experience in financial management and has worked as Chief Financial Officer or Finance Manager in various industries such as commercial, industrial, municipal utilities as well as various types of organizations state-owned, private, joint venture and government agencies. Prior to joining SMIC, he served as the CFO of the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology (DaTang Telecom Technology & Industry Group), the chairman of DaTang Capital (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and DaTang Telecom Group Finance Co., Ltd. and an executive director of Datang Hi-Tech Venture Capital Investment Co., Ltd. He also previously served as a director and Senior Vice President of Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Holdings Co., Ltd and is a standing committee member in the Accounting Society of China. In November 2004, he was appointed CFO of the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Gao graduated from Nankai University with a Ph.D in management. He has conducted studies in the field of financial investment, and has been involved in a number of key research projects and publications in this area. Gao is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Chief Financial Officer of Hanson Robotics
David Chen is a Shanghai-based investor and entrepreneur and sits as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Hanson Robotics. Formerly a Product Manager at Honda Automotive, Chen is the Founder and Director of AngelVest, a private equity fund. Chen is the lead investor instrumental in bringing Dr. Hanson to Hong Kong.
