Ms. Dea, CPA, CA has over 19 years of experience in the finance, securities and accounting fields. Previously, Ms. Dea was the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Silvermex Resources Inc. a TSX listed, mid-tier producing silver company from May 2011 until is was acquired in July 2012. Ms. Dea oversaw all aspects of finance and legal as well as implemented structure, controls, governance and fiscal policy. Prior to Silvermex, Ms. Dea was the VP Finance and CFO of Polaris Minerals Corporation, also a TSX listed company, for 5 years and was responsible for the overall financial management of the Company, including overseeing Polaris’ debt and capital market activities, managing banking relationships with US, Canadian and International banks and internal and external public reporting. During her career at Polaris, she completed numerous debt and equity financings, and oversaw the implementation of the financial controls, processes and corporate financing strategies required to bring Polaris from development stage to large-scale commercial production. Prior to joining Polaris, Ms. Dea spent eleven years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, achieving the position of Senior Manager. Ms. Dea obtained her Chartered Accountants designation in 1997 and holds a BComm from the University of British Columbia.

Ian Kidson
Executive Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer of Progressive Waste Solutions
Mr. Kidson joined Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd. in August 2012 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was also named Executive Vice President on January 1, 2014. He is an accomplished financial services executive. Prior to joining the Company, he was Managing Director and Co-Head of TD Capital Mezzanine Partners for ten years where he led subordinated debt and equity investments in North American businesses in sectors including waste management. Previously, Mr. Kidson spent 16 years at CIBC World Markets/Wood Gundy, which he joined in 1984 in the Investment Banking department. In 1986, he moved to CIBC’s Capital Markets group where he analyzed and marketed interest rate swaps and other derivative product structures to corporate and government accounts, primarily in connection with debt financing transactions. In 1990, Mr. Kidson became Managing Director of the Private Placement (Debt) Group which was followed by a move to CIBC Capital Partners in 1994. At CIBC Capital Partners, he was a Principal, leading both mezzanine and equity investments. Mr. Kidson received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1984 and holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA, both from McMaster University.

Michael Donovan

Shane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Manitoba and has over 20 years experience as a leader in successful organizations. Prior to moving into the oil and gas industry, Shane spent 13 years in the consumer packaged goods sector working with Nestle and General Mills. In 2007, he changed industries and joined Strad as the Sales & Marketing Manager before being promoted in 2008 to an ever expanding role in operations as a General Manager. By 2011, he was promoted to Vice President of Drilling Services Canada and then advanced again in 2012 to the Senior Vice President role to oversee Canadian operations. In 2014, Shane was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. With the pattern of being promoted again and again into higher roles and harder challenges, Shane’s determination has achieved exponential growth for every business unit and team he has worked with at Strad. Shane and his family are active members in their community and volunteer with Inn from the Cold and Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Graham Thatcher
Chief Financial Officer of Southern Silver Exploration
Mr. Thatcher moved from London, England to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2006. Specializing in financial reporting and auditing across a breadth of business sectors in both the UK and Canada, he brings extensive experience of operating with International Financial Reporting Standards and paperless systems. He is also senior accountant at Manex Resource Group which provides administrative, financial, corporate, corporate finance and geological services to a number of public companies in the mineral resource sector. Prior to this, he worked in public practice at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP with companies in the mining and exploration sector. Mr. Thatcher obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Economics from Lancaster University in 1995, which included a one year program at the University of British Columbia. He is also a finalist of global accounting designation, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Mr. Thatcher is also volunteer board member and treasurer at Heritage Hall Preservation Society, a non-profit charitable organization whose mandate is to restore and manage Heritage Hall, a landmark building located in Vancouver.
