Bob Halliday was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Applied Materials, Inc. in February 2013. He previously was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates prior to Applied’s acquisition of the company in November 2011. During his tenure, Varian achieved record financial and stock performance and he was named a top CFO by Institutional Investor magazine. Since the acquisition of Varian, Mr. Halliday served as general manager of the implant business unit within Applied’s Silicon Systems Group. Kevin A. Messerle
Chief Financial Officer of York Space Systems
Kevin joined Summit Partners in 2015. He is a member of Summit Partners Credit Advisors, the credit affiliate of Summit Partners which addresses the borrowing needs of small and large companies. Kevin has extensive experience in leveraged finance. He currently leads the firm’s origination activities in energy, transportation, and automotive. Prior to Summit, Kevin worked for Regiment Capital, where he was responsible for credit investments across several sectors including energy and metals/mining. Previously, he worked for Davidson Kempner Capital Management as a senior distressed debt analyst covering a variety of sectors. Kevin holds a BS in mechanical engineering, with distinction, from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
