Brian Cohen 30-year career features a wide variety of technology leadership roles and entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales Strategy & Operations at Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for driving the Americas regional sales coverage and compensation, sales process management, sales productivity and sales readiness programs within HP’s Enterprise Group. In this effort, he worked closely with the Worldwide and Regional Business Units, Sales Finance, Human Resources, and Country-based Sales Operations teams. Prior to joining HP in August 2010, he was a Fellow in the 2009 New England Clean Energy Fellowship, an MIT program designed to prepare serial entrepreneurs for leadership roles in the clean technology industry. Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of Steelbox Networks, developing technology for the next wave in video switching. As President and CEO of SPI Dynamics, Cohen led the company through its acquisition by HP in August 2007 when its application security software became a key part of the application management solution in the HP Software line. Under Cohen’s leadership, SPI Dynamics was recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte for four consecutive years starting in 2003. Cohen has also founded and served as President and CEO of Technologic, Inc. (sold to eSoft, Inc. in 1999), and in executive management positions with Management Matters, Inc., a private investment and consulting company, and Dun & Bradstreet Software (aka Management Science America). He has a BA from the University of Florida and began his technology career as a systems engineer with Electronic Data Systems. Cohen also serves as Chairman of the Board of Lancope, Inc., a network security and network performance optimization company, as an advisor to Bluebox Security, a mobile security platform company, and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.

Steve Scheppmann is executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Teradata, reporting to Vic Lund. In addition to leading the financial organization, Steve has responsibility for IT services and global operations. Prior to joining Teradata in September 2007, Steve had 20 years of experience as a CFO and more than 10 years in public accounting. He was executive vice president and CFO of Per-Se Technologies, Inc. Steve was executive vice president and CFO for NOVA Information Systems, Inc. from 2000 to 2006 and senior vice president and CFO for Larson-Juhl, Inc. from 1988 to 2000. He held senior auditing positions with Arthur Andersen & Company from 1978 through 1988. He was a member of the board of directors of eResearch Technology, Inc., a publicly-traded biotechnical services and technology company, where he also served as the chair of its audit committee from 2006 – 2012. Having worked with Kevin Phillips for nearly 15 years, Rob Frohwein knew whom to call when he wanted to provide additional structure to the newly formed Kabbage. After spending a few weeks consulting for the business, Kevin fell in love with its people, passion and product and joined the team full-time as Chief Information Officer. He served as the lead architect for the Kabbage Platform before transitioning to Chief Financial Officer, where he oversaw Kabbage’s finance and accounting teams. Now Head of Corporate Development, Kevin is responsible for the planning and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives. Before his time with Kabbage, Kevin spent nearly 20 years building shareholder value in the U.S. and Europe through technology and finance roles.
